Junior HSE Specialist

Responsibilities

• Auditing worksites, keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations;
• Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations;
• Creating analytical reports of safety data;
• Inspecting production equipment in sites and processes to make sure they are safe;
• Focusing on prevention by keeping up with equipment maintenance and employee training;
• Presenting safety principles to staff in meetings or lecture-type training sessions;
• Participating in continuing training and briefing  to update knowledge of health and safety  techniques and culture;
• Creating site safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes;
• Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with project leadership to create consistency in safety standards throughout the production team and the entire company;
• Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site send report to HSE Manager;
• Finding the best way to prevent future accidents in critical sites;
• Reviewing and reporting on the staff's compliance with health and safety rules and recommending commendations;
• Conduct Weekly and daily area inspection, make report and send to HSE Manager;

Make daily HSE briefing in various sites and report.

•  Fluent in Azerbaijani, with mandatory proficiency in English and Russian;
• Higher Education;
•  Professional communication and correspondence skills;
• Ability to perform assigned tasks in timely manner;
• Experience in conducting HSE trainings;
• Basic knowledge of English language;
• Strong presentation skills;
• Critical thinking and analysis skills;
• Ability to manage several priority issues at the same time;
• Ability to take a creative approach to problem solving;
• Proficient Microsoft Office user;
• Flexibility and ability to learn quickly;
• Ability to work in stressful working conditions.
