Summary:
Senior IT Governance Specialist assesses the effectiveness of risk management, internal control, and corporate governance processes within an IT project. Also, he/she conducts analytical analyzes of information systems based on available information of information systems and assesses risks on internal control gaps. Senior IT Governance Specialist performs and documents dependency analysis of IT and information security business processes that directly impact business continuity; develops assessment criteria based on IT standards and vendor databases for risk assessment.
Job responsibilities:
• Participate in the preparation of the Work Program for the IT project;
• Ensure the development and implementation of procedures for the detection of deficiencies during the implementation of the IT project;
• Ensure the implementation of IT and Information Security projects taking into account important IT risks, information security and cyber security risks;
• Preparing reports on the IT project in a correct, high-quality and effective manner;
• Participate in the preparation of summary reports on IT management and information security activities on the instructions of the IT Director;
• Participate in the preparation of the work and time distribution report;
• Monitor the work of the IT team he/she leads within the framework of the IT project and give feedback on the results;
• Perform other tasks assigned by the project manager or the IT Director within the scope of responsibility
Requirements:
• More than 3 years of work experience in the field of IT, information security;
• General IT knowledge;
• Having knowledge of IT and cyber security in the relevant sector and business processes to implement Information Security procedures;
• Analytical skills;
• Communication skills;
• Technical knowledge: Knowledge of networking and network security. Proficiency with MS Windows and Linux based operating systems. Knowledge of databases and information security. Knowledge of data analytics. Knowledge of SQL and PowerShell scripts;
• Knowledge of accepted international standards for IT and information security (ISO/IEC 27007, ISO/IEC 27033, PCI DSS, NIST)
