Recruitment Specialist (Stores)

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with store management to fulfill staffing needs.
  • Conducting interviews with candidates and providing stores with high-quality staff within the established timeframe.
  • Reviewing and screening (filtering) a large volume of CVs and applications daily, in accordance with store locations and vacancy requirements.
  • Maintaining an active and updated database of potential candidates for urgent store openings.
  • Conducting a high volume of initial phone screenings daily to assess candidates' eligibility, location, basic communication skills, and motivation.
  • Organizing and managing mass interview sessions ("open door" days or career fairs).
  • Evaluating candidates based on standardized selection criteria established for the retail sector.
  • Scheduling and coordinating final interviews between selected candidates and Store Managers or Regional Managers.
  • Providing timely feedback to candidates, and managing the rejection and job offer processes.
  • Assisting the HR Operations team in collecting necessary documents (ID, medical certificate, labor book, etc.) from selected candidates to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Fully and regularly updating the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or recruitment database.
  • Tracking staff turnover trends at the store level by collaborating closely with store management to anticipate future recruitment needs.
  • Update the store staffing schedules in accordance with daily changes

 

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in recruitment; experience in retail or FMCG sectors is preferred (internships completed in a fast-paced environment will also be considered).
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in Azerbaijani is mandatory; proficiency in English and Russian is desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) for tracking data.
    • High level of empathy and a positive attitude when dealing with diverse candidate profiles.
    • MS office (Knowledge of Excel, Word, PTT, Outlook) knowledge is must
