Maintenance technician

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation of all repair services;
• Inspect completed equipment with designated contractor;
• Coordinating special projects under the instructions of the head of the store operations department;
• Assist in the inspection of all works performed by external  contractors;
• Ensure 24-hours emergency repair service;
• Inspect and repair all identified building systems;
• inform the head of the store operations department about any exceptional event that has occurred or may occur

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic mechanical and/or electromechanical technology, ability to successfully complete assignments;
• General hand tool and/or machine shop knowledge;
• Technical knowledge and skills in any of the following areas: manufacturing, assembly, processing, welding, installation, setup, operation, testing, inspection, troubleshooting;
• Certain experience in the use of standard hand, electrical and mechanical tools;
• Ability to weld with a gas knife;
• Ability to read electrical drawings;
• Ability to identify electrical wires by color;
• Operational control and critical thinking skills
