Main duties:
- Strong skills in supporting, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting all local area network devices and related software for branch offices, internal and external networks.
- Monitoring all systems to ensure they’re working correctly.
- Solve problems related to the company network in a timely manner.
- Analyzing infrastructure to determine inefficiencies and problems.
- Implementing best practices for network security
- Monitor and conduct performance evaluation of networks.
- Provide integrated team support and LAN hardware and software maintenance.
- Knowledge of installing LAN software upgrades including planning and scheduling, testing and coordination
- Knowledge of maintaining LAN hardware and software integrity Install LAN software upgrades including planning and scheduling, testing and coordination.
- Performs complex software and operating network devices upgrades and track licensing.
- Documents complex procedures and troubleshooting procedures related to network software and hardware.
- Meeting with the management team to assess and define the network requirements
Required background experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is desirable
- 3-5 years of work experience in the relevant field
- Normal knowledge of studying vendor products to determine those that best meet the organization's needs; Assist in providing information to management for procurement and installation and commissioning of hardware, software and telecommunications equipment if purchased
- Knowledge of Standard Routing Protocols, i.e. EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, etc.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP ports, protocols, and subnetting.
- Network fundamentals,Network services such as: DNS, DHCP, NTP, and LDAP
- Experience with NGFW
- Knowledge of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of Cisco Internetworking Devices
- Confidence and skillful negotiating skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Experience documenting, maintaining, and updating physical/logical diagrams depicting current operational structures, active network interfaces, IP addresses, and subnet masks of LAN-managed devices
- Provide on-call support after business hours and during weekends when required

- Good oral and written communication skills in Azerbaijani and English are desirable
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Provide liaison support between the LAN team, vendors and internal support group as needed
