Employee Relations Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Review, make decisions on, and present internal disciplinary violations based on documents and other evidence submitted during applications.
  • Administer disciplinary actions to employees who have committed disciplinary violations in accordance with AR Labor Legislation, internal company discipline rules, and procedures.
  • Register, track, and respond daily to complaints related to disciplinary violations.
  • Check whether there are ongoing disciplinary investigations for employees planning to resign voluntarily, and respond to resignation requests in a timely manner.
  • Accept and investigate employee complaints, hold meetings if necessary, and take possible steps to resolve issues quickly
  • Investigate the root causes of disciplinary violations, hold meetings with market employees and relevant department representatives (head office, distribution center) to prevent recurrence, and make recommendations.
  • Draft disciplinary penalty documents and other documents (orders, letters, notifications, etc.) in accordance with literary language orthographic norms, enter them into the electronic database, and maintain records.
  • Ensure timely signing, registration, and archiving of issued orders by employees.
  • Draft warning notifications, ensure relevant employees are informed, and archive those notifications.
  • Terminate employment contracts for employees with disciplinary violations in accordance with AR Labor Legislation and carry out all related tasks.
  • Timely and accurately respond to inquiries related to disciplinary issues from mediation organizations and State Labour Inspection Office, and perform all related tasks (participate in mediation sessions, implement agreements based on reconciliation, etc.).
  • Regularly prepare and present reports required by relevant departments and management.
  • Periodically prepare reports and presentations reflecting statistics on disciplinary violations, and hold meetings with regional market managers to present statistics and reduce discrepancies.
  • Propose updates, amendments, and presentations to management and relevant departments for the regular updating of internal discipline rules, policies, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • 2 years plus of experience in the Human Resources field
  • Reasonable knowledge of Labor Legislation
  • Fluent oral and written communication in Azerbaijani (adherence to lexical and grammatical norms)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Research skills, attention to detail, and decision-making abilities
