Junior Treasury Accountant

Job responsibilities:

• Local Payments entry (Main Amount)
• Local Payments entry (VAT Amount)
• Foreign Payments entry
• Receipts entry and allocation
• Cash requests entry and control
• Write cheques
• Download SWIFTS from Internet Banking
• Attach payment backups in COINS
• Payments reconciliation (COINS/Bank)
• Proceed payments and solve payment related issues
• Other tasks relevant tasks assigned by Treasury Supervisor

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Finance field and/or in similar role
• Experience in Treasury or Accounting team
• Experience in retail field is an advantage 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Azerbaijani, English. Russian language is advantage
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office
• Use of COINS and GOLD is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to liaise with and manage relationships with external contacts
• Analytical thinking skills - ability to elicit and define required solutions.
• Results-driven and Details-oriented
• Dedication to quality and reliability in all work tasks
