Junior Quality Assurance Specialist

Job responsibilities:

• Tracking of quality records, analyzing and reporting;
• Documentation management: creation, publication, implementation and keeping it update;
• Implement and maintain company quality assurance objectives;
• Tracking the periodical quality control testing of private label products;
• To conduct an internal food safety audit of stores and warehouse  ensure that corrective actions are understood, and supervise corrective actions.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance by reviewing food safety compliance records and participating in supplier audits.
• Ensuring that food product labeling information complies with food safety regulations.
• Ensuring the compliance of private label product specifications.
• To report corrections and corrective actions taken.
• Initiate and supervise product withdrawal; evaluate effectiveness of the process.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Required qualifications:

• Food production, laboratory, quality control experience
• Food technology, food microbiology, biology, chemistry graduate
• Strong knowledge of English and Azerbaijani. Knowledge of Russian is an advantage 
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Knowledge of MS Office, (especially Excel) and Outlook
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong communication skills
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
