Job Summary and Purpose: Junior Construction Engineer is responsible for monitoring and supervising construction works carried out by the contractor. The role also includes interpreting and preparing pre-construction drawings/documents, assisting with the delivery process, and providing technical support to the construction engineers within the department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervision of Construction Works
- Monitor whether the contractor’s construction work complies with project specifications, scope of work, and the approved project schedule. Supervise activities related to building commissioning and regularly inform management.
- Prepare and send permit request letters to government authorities for newly constructed buildings.
- Monitor construction schedules and the sequence, storage, and accuracy of construction material deliveries.
- Report risks and opportunities for project improvement to senior management in a timely manner.
- Track construction productivity and work planning; investigate reasons for delays and report them to management.
- Participate in the building handover process by preparing defect/punch lists and assist in resolving identified defects or deficiencies.
- Supervise the installation process of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Technical skills related to project supervision and 1–3 years of experience in construction engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to communicate and work openly with individuals and teams; highly friendly, enthusiastic, and courteous personality.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective work processes.
- Ability to read and interpret project drawings.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and analytical skills.

Working conditions:
- 5 days per week, from 09:00-18:00
