Internal Control Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Researches, analyzes and prepares various reports, based on auditing in responsible areas
  • Perform independent testing of internal controls over business processes.
  • Provide input into the development of the annual risk-based Internal Control test plan.
  • Assist management of Internal Control in running periodic internal controls testing of business environment.
  • Conduct business process control reviews related to implementation of business process changes.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the Business Process Owners to remediate identified control weaknesses.
  • Analyze information and conduct testing to detect deficient, non-existent controls, inefficiencies etc.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and maintenance of an effective internal control environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experienceç preferably in Retail industry, Property, or Construction fileds.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with managers and business process owners.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems independently.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Good personal organisation skills.
  • Language skills - Azerbaijani, English.
  • Computer skills - proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel (high level), and PowerPoint).
