Electric Engineer

Job Purpose: To ensure the reliable and safe operation of electrical systems in all stores and businesses by managing the installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of high voltage, high current and low voltage systems, including generators and protection systems. The purpose of this position is also to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, support project planning and execution, and ensure sustainable, safe and energy-efficient electrical operations by supervising the activities of technical personnel.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the technical integrity of electrical systems in stores, eliminating problems that arise in electrical systems during operation.
Organizing the correct and prompt implementation of technical inspection, testing and repair work in order to ensure the annual technical serviceability of high voltage and high current devices and general electrical systems in stores.
Providing service services and monitoring their operation to ensure the technical integrity of low voltage protection systems (fire alarm and automatic fire extinguishing systems, anti-theft protection systems) and ensuring their constant serviceability during operation.
Organization and control of service maintenance during the operation of generators.
Control the installation, inspection, repair work, troubleshooting and daily technical inspection of buildings, infrastructure and enterprise equipment;
Participate in project analysis processes to reduce operating and maintenance costs, limit operating life and capital replacement costs and energy consumption;
Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise and check the work of employees responsible for technical inspection, as well as participate in these operations;
Actively participate in the pre-operational and operational stages of projects, including the selection of the electrical system;
If required, provide feedback on electrical system documents at all stages of the project, conduct analyses, and make proposals for optimizing budgets and costs;
Education: Higher technical education (electrical engineering, power engineering or related field).
Work experience: Minimum 3–5 years of work experience as an electrical engineer.
Deep knowledge in the field of construction, technical operation and repair of electrical systems;
Practical skills in the operation of high voltage and high current devices;
Knowledge and experience in weak flow systems (fire alarm, automatic fire extinguishing, anti-theft protection, etc.);
Organization of generator operation and service services;
Ability to design, analyze and read and examine electrical documents.
Skills:

Operational solution of technical problems, diagnostics and elimination of malfunctions;
Planning and organization of technical inspections and preventive works;
Participation in the selection and analysis of the electrical part of projects, making optimization proposals;
Ability to work in a team, control employee activities and prioritize work.
Computer skills: Ability to use MS Office programs, AutoCAD and relevant software in the electrical field.
Language skills: Fluent in Azerbaijani, knowledge of Russian and/or English is an advantage.
Responsible, accurate and disciplined;
Analytical thinking and decision-making ability;
Ability to work under pressure and make prompt decisions.
