Responsibilities:
- Take note of the key terms of commercial contracts
- Activate in the Gold system the discount rates outlined in the commercial contracts
- Calculation of the cost of imported goods, including all related expenses
- Verify the accuracy of the unit cost price formation for imported goods in the system and inform the commercial team about the actual costs of imported goods
- Discussions with commercial team and requests by them
- Ad-hoc reports
- Give rebate information/breakdown to AR team
- Back margin balance accounts reconcilation with AR team
- Verify the accuracy of the discount rates activated in the system
- Provide adjustments to the accounts of imported goods' costs in the event of discrepancies
- Provision of a balance report, including the costs of imported goods
- Preparation of a list of monetary amounts to be recorded in accounts to increase the margin.
- Providing of a balance report for accrued trading margin
- Back margin and margin adjustment calculation
- Other closing tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other related specialization.
- At least 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting, or similar field
- Intermediate English
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
- Familiarity with accounting software programs
- ACCA F3 is required. F7 is preferable. Other certificates are advantage.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel pivot tables, formulas, charts); knowledge of Gold and COINS is an advantage.
