Purpose:
To manage and maintain Linux-based systems within Bravo IT infrastructure.
- Installation, Optimization, and Maintenance of Servers: Ensure the installation, optimization, and stable operation of servers running Linux distributions (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Enterprise Environment Management: Install, optimize, and manage load balancing and high availability (HA) configurations for servers in enterprise environments.
- Server Services Management: High-level management of server services such as SSH, FTP, and others.
- Network Security: Ensure network security by managing network infrastructure protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Firewall Configuration: Experience in configuring and optimizing firewalls (using tools like firewall-cmd and others).
- Real-Time Monitoring: Set up complex alerting and automation processes using real-time monitoring systems (such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Disaster Recovery (DR) Planning: Develop disaster recovery plans, implement automated backup strategies, and regularly conduct recovery tests.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Systems and Architectures: Intermediate knowledge of systems (Linux/Windows), distributed computing architectures (client-server, intranet/internet), hardware platforms, and resources—CPU, memory, virtualization, clustering.
- System Configuration and Maintenance: Ability to configure and adjust systems to ensure proper operation and regular technical maintenance.
- Experience: At least 3 years of work experience in System Engineering.
- Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Ability to generate ideas for solving problems, accurately assess the situation around decision points, and work with experienced team members.
- Troubleshooting and Documentation: Ability to address common issues, identify root causes, document solutions, and work with experienced specialists on solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent education with relevant work experience. Practical experience in Linux/Unix system administration.
- Scripting Skills: Strong skills in Bash scripting.
- Java Technologies: Experience with Java frameworks and technologies such as Java, Tomcat, and Spring.
- Web Technologies and APIs: Experience working with web technologies, APIs, and microservices.
- Communication Skills: High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest in Problem-Solving and Automation: Candidates should have a strong interest in problem-solving and automation and be motivated to continue developing skills in this area.
