Duties
• Configuring internal systems
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues
• Check and upgrade the system infrastructure.
• Monitor the performance of servers, software, and hardware.
• Ensure the smooth deployment of new application
• Plan, test, and implement upgrades for our information systems.
• Integrate new software applications.
• Manage devices on our network through Active Directory
• Manage user access.
• Configure Servers hardware.
• Ensure servers and firewalls are working correctly.
• Develop and apply best practices.
• Coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Run performance reports.
• Is responsible for the installation and configuration of new software and hardware, including the server network, devices, and firewalls.
• Is responsible for monitoring system performance, IT system operations and storage utilization.
• To plan for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.
• Manages user accounts, and assigns and updates security permissions on the system according to security policy.
• Administer and support core Microsoft, and VMware technologies.
• Group Policy design and configuration
• Linux administration
• Active Directory user and group administration
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field (master’s preferred)
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in system administration
• Solid understanding of Office 365 and MS Cloud.
• Good knowledge of at least one scripting language
• Good knowledge of system security techniques
• Scripting experience is a plus.
• Experience with VMware is preferred.
• Experience with storage devices HPE 3par, MSA.
• Comfortable working with various operating systems
• Having at least one of CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Linux certifications (RHCSA or RHCE) is advantage.
• Experience in Backup systems as a Veeam Backup.
• Experience in M365 & Azure, experience in M365 migration. Design and implement Azure cloud strategy.
• Administer and support core Microsoft, and VMware technologies.
• Work and security processes of servers and data
• Good FTP file server knowledge
• Ability to work with Linux system.
• Ability to work with cloud systems.
• Support the environment setups required for development, testing, and production systems.
• Enhance business systems by providing accurate information about business needs and priorities.
• Manage the consistent use of agreed tools and methods to address and resolve user identified problems in line with service level agreements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English
• Proficient use of MS Office
• Attention to detail, and a drive to be successful; ability to work independently with minimal supervision or assistance.
